Water Service Line Inspections in the City of Plainview.
The City's Engineering Company, Bolton & Menk will have staff in town this week knocking on doors to assist with visual inspections. These inspections will require access to your basement.

The Annual Corn on the Cob Days Event will be held August 14-18, 2024.
The brush pile has been chipped. Mulch available starting Saturday, June 1, 2024, at the City's Public Works Shop, located at 230 10th Street SW. Free to the public. Help yourself!

The Plainview Public Works Department is hard at work making Plainview beautiful and ready for summer!. The hanging flower baskets and flags are going up on Broadway and 3rd Street SW. Thank you Brian and Spencer!

Plainview's Fire Chief Mike Lyons presented 2 scholarships from the Plainview Fire Relief Association on Monday, May 20, 2024 at the PEM scholarship banquet. Congratulations to Kaylee Hutchison and Trinity Binner.
The Plainview Fire Department along with the Plainview Library Volunteer Group are organizing a group to help anyone with down trees from last night's storm.
